JEREMY FISCHER
I have a Ph.D. in philosophy and write about ethics, broadly construed to include moral and political psychology, with special attention to race and racism. Until recently I was an associate professor of philosophy at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
My work has been published in numerous academic journals, including Philosophers' Imprint, Ethics, Ergo, Critical Philosophy of Race, Ratio, The Journal of Social Philosophy, The Journal of Value Inquiry, and Philosophical Papers. (Download my work here.) Here is my cv.
On August 16, 2021, I resigned my position at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in protest of the University of Alabama System's inadequate COVID-related health and safety policies.
